The courtyard at Clonalis House contains four beautiful self-catering cottages. They are in a unique setting in the historic grounds of Clonalis House Estate, the ancestral home of the O'Conors, Kings of Connaught and at times the High Kings of Ireland. Clonalis House is a magnificent Victorian residence and is one of Ireland's most important historic properties.
A stay in Clonalis Mews gives the visitor the unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the past through the estates rich history. Guests are allowed explore the gardens and take walks in the estates own private woodlands. Peace and tranquility are offered in abundance at Clonalis House Estate with only the sound of nature to disturb you.

These 4*Failte Ireland Approved self-catering cottages retain all the elegance from the Georgian period but with all your modern comforts.
On arrival guests will find a welcome pack with home-made treats waiting for them.If you arrive after a long journey, we can arrange for a light supper, to be delivered to your cottage.
Overall Clonalis Mews can accommodate 25 people in their Self Catering Holiday Cottages, in the heart of County Roscommon, making Clonalis ideal for groups of family or friends wanting to holiday together or to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, etc. The Old Forge at Clonalis has been restored to provide a large self-contained room that offers groups who book the cottages, the facility to dine together.
The Stewards House is situated in the Georgian Period Courtyard. This holiday rental house comprises four bedrooms (two twins and two doubles), bathroom and shower room, fully equipped large kitchen, separate sitting room and additional sitting/ dining room with period fireplaces.
The Garden and Orchard Houses are situated in the peaceful enclosed walled garden of Clonalis facing due south ensuring maximum sun light. Each self-catering house sleeps up to six people and comprises two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, all en-suite. Downstairs has an open plan kitchen and dining area with an open fireplace. Both are equipped to the highest standard including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and television.
The Mews Cottage, our smallest holiday cottage, is full of charm and period pieces. This charming holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single and a twin room. It has an upstairs shower room and lavatory as well as downstairs facilities.

Rates are based on one weeks self-catering letting (Saturday to Saturday). Weekend breaks can be arranged.
A refundable deposit for breakages is required to be paid on arrival and will be returned on departure, if not required.
